# Introduction

PoSciDonDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization that leverages the Base blockchain network to redefine personalized medicine (PM) research funding. By doing so, PoSciDonDAO accelerates breakthroughs in PM, setting the stage for a future where healthcare is predictive, personalized and patient-centric. Its dual-token and dual-on-chain governance models facilitate efficient, transparent and unbiased resource allocation to fund research projects advancing treatments for life-altering diseases including, but not limited to, cancer and multiple sclerosis.
